All eyes of the techie world are towards the release of the flagship smartphone from OnePlus. Like its predecessors, the eighth phone in the series is ready to blaze the smartphone stage with its high-end features embedded in it. To add another feather to its flagship cap, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is set to collaborate with the Marvel Studios, a subsidiary of Walt Disney Entertainment to release limited Avengers Infinity War edition of OnePlus 6 phones. The powerful smart handheld device is set to hit the Indian market as an Amazon exclusive product.
Previously, OnePlus had tied with the Walt Disney Studios and launched Star Wars Limited Edition for its OnePlus 5T phones. This will be the second time OnePlus is set to associate with a production studio to release a smartphone in a movie theme. The Star Wars Limited Edition of OnePlus 5T had good reception from the people, though it was of slightly higher cost than the normal OnePlus 5T edition. The success of its previous theme has goaded OnePlus to join hands with Walt Disney Studios.
The battle to acquire India’s Online retail firm Flipkart has intensified with its rival Amazon looking to conquer the major space of India’s online retail segment. Amazon’s move is seen as a counter to stall another retail giant Walmart’s entry into the Indian retail space.
According to recent reports, Walmart has concluded the due diligence procedures to acquire 51% stake in the firm. Walmart plans to bring in 10 to 12 billion dollars to acquire hold on Flipkart’s secondary shares. Flipkart looks to cut this deal through for 20 to 22 billion dollars. But, this undervalued bid by Walmart has given space for Amazon to step in and initiate talks with Flipkart.

Flipkart took the Indian retail sphere by storm by rolling out its online retail platform a decade ago. Similar to the history of Amazon, two former Amazon Employees Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal forayed its startup into the unexplored Indian space as an online bookseller in 2007. Unhindered by its humble beginning, Flipkart grew leaps and bounds by setting its tentacles across all market segments.
